OLD GLORY

It's early afternoon in the middle of Ramblas in Barcelona. On sunday, I was surrounded of tourists passing by everywhere, making difficult to have a neat view of what should call my attention.
I had just taken some photos in Plaza Catalunya, where some children were playing with a giant bubbles. They handed me their joy. Everything seemed cheerful. Suddenly everything changed color. He was there, as if his time was different from mine, as if life could be lived at a different rates. I felt strange. People everywhere, and he stood alone, sleeping in the avenue. An irremisible contrast of sensations.
With no tripod. Quite a distance and waiting for a gap of people, to get a good plane. People were looking the other way.
